FAQ
Is Mannington accessible?
We do our best to make the gardens as accessible as possible. Many areas are reachable by wheelchair, and you’ll find benches placed throughout for regular rest stops. That said, please be aware that a lot of the paths are gravel or grass, which can be tricky for manual wheelchairs.
A wheelchair-accessible boardwalk takes you through the meadow and to our bird hide – a peaceful spot to pause and enjoy the view.
We also offer accessible parking close to the gardens and café. Just speak to a member of staff when you arrive and we’ll be happy to help. There are wheelchair-accessible toilets on site too.
If you’d like to chat through any mobility needs before your visit, please give us a call on 01263 493275 or email info@mannington.co.uk – we’re always happy to help.
Can I bring my dog to Mannington?
Yes! Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome both in the gardens and in the café. Water bowls and plenty of shady spots are available for our four-legged visitors.
Do I need to pay to use the café?
No – you’re very welcome to visit the café without buying a garden ticket. You’ll only need to pay if you’d like to explore the Rose Gardens or grounds.
Do you accept RHS or HHA membership cards?
Yes, we do! RHS and HHA members enjoy free entry to the gardens – just bring your valid membership card with you on the day.
Please note: free entry does not apply to special or charity events.
