Our school visits are designed to inspire curiosity, foster confidence and support national curriculum goals across a range of key stages. Reflecting our passion and commitment for conservation, each session focuses on caring for the natural environment and is thoughtfully tailored to your group’s needs and learning priorities.
Each year we can offer a number of school visits funded through the Countryside Stewardship Scheme, with schools only responsible for arranging transport. If you are interested in a funded visit, please mention the Countryside Stewardship Scheme when submitting your enquiry below.
What School Visits Include:
Each visit to Mannington Hall Estate is crafted in partnership with your teaching team to make the most of our beautiful estate and facilities. Sessions may include:
- Outdoor learning in our estate landscape
Connect with nature as students investigate our gardens, wetlands, meadows and woodlands — observing wildlife, exploring habitats and engaging with ecological concepts in a real-world setting. - Curriculum-linked activities
Whether you’re focusing on science, history, geography, art or wellbeing, we adapt sessions to support your lesson plans. Activities can be tailored to specific topics such as biodiversity, ecosystems, land use or creative interpretation. - Skills and personal development
Our programmes encourage teamwork, observation skills, communication and confidence as students work together and engage with their environment.
Every visit is designed to be age-appropriate and flexible. We tailor the pace, content and structure to suit your Key Stage, group size and learning objectives, and we are always happy to discuss any special requirements in advance.
