Opening Times.

Mannington Gardens and Grounds are open seasonally, from 25 March to 1 November 2026.

We are open:
Wednesday to Sunday, 10am – 4pm

There’s no set route through the gardens or grounds, so you’re welcome to explore at your own pace. Most visitors spend a couple of hours here, though many choose to stay longer and make a full day of it.

Accessibility

We aim to make Mannington as welcoming and accessible as possible.

  • Much of the gardens and visitor areas are level, with a mix of gravel, grass and hard paths
  • Accessible toilet facilities are available
  • Seating is placed throughout the gardens for rest and reflection

As a historic estate, some areas have uneven ground or narrower paths.
If you have specific access questions ahead of your visit, please do get in touch – we’re very happy to advise.

Practical Things to Know

A note on the Hall
Mannington Hall is not currently open to the public and is undergoing significant conservation work. The Hall is fully scaffolded as part of a major programme of repair and care, helping to secure the building for the long term.

While the scaffolding is a visible part of the landscape, it does not detract from the experience of the gardens, grounds and wider estate. Conservation is part of Mannington’s story as a living, working place, and visitors continue to enjoy all that the estate has to offer.

Is Mannington accessible?

We do our best to make the gardens as accessible as possible. Many areas are reachable by wheelchair, and you’ll find benches placed throughout for regular rest stops. That said, please be aware that a lot of the paths are gravel or grass, which can be tricky for manual wheelchairs.

A wheelchair-accessible boardwalk takes you through the meadow and to our bird hide – a peaceful spot to pause and enjoy the view.

We also offer accessible parking close to the gardens and café. Just speak to a member of staff when you arrive and we’ll be happy to help. There are wheelchair-accessible toilets on site too.

If you’d like to chat through any mobility needs before your visit, please give us a call on 01263 493275 or email info@mannington.co.uk – we’re always happy to help.
