Jackie Morris | Friday | 4:00pm

£17.00

Jackie Morris has had a long and distinguished career as a writer and illustrator of children’s books, predominantly featuring her stunning paintings of animals. In 2017, she illustrated the bestseller The Lost Words by Robert MacFarlane. The pair teamed up for a second time in 2020 with equally wonderful The Lost Spells, and this year they have collaborated on an exquisite new publication, The Book of Birds: A Field Guide to Wonder and Loss.

We’re overjoyed that Jackie can join us on Friday evening to launch this year’s Book Bash. A rare talent, she’s a member of a small group of cherished illustrators whose work will be synonymous with childhood for a whole generation. She’ll be in conversation with writer and journalist Patrick Barkham, discussing her life, her work, and her relationship with animals and the natural world.

Help us put on ‘Mini Mannington’ and ‘Back the Bash’ with a small donation!
